These are delicious pancakes that taste just like the ones at IHOP. I usually use a mix (Whataburger pancake mix is good), but these homemade pancakes are worth the extra 5 minutes of effort!
1 1/4 cup flour
1 egg
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup sugar
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup vegetable oil
pinch salt
Combine dry ingredients. Add liquid ingredients to "well" in the center.
Mix thoroughly until smooth. Cook on hot skillet or griddle.
